The War on Masculinity: Between Andrew Tate and Charlie Kirk

Updated: 4 days ago

masculinity

THE TWO VOICES SHAPING A GENERATION

Two men dominate the global conversation about masculinity Andrew Tate and Charlie Kirk. Both are influential. Both attract men searching for direction but only one message leads toward life.

The world calls it empowerment however the Bible calls it deception when strength is detached from submission to God.

We live in a time where men are desperate to recover their place in the home, in society, and in purpose. Yet the versions of masculinity promoted today either make men passive or perverted. The truth is in the middle and it’s only found in Jesus Christ.

THE APPEAL OF ANDREW TATE

Andrew Tate’s message sounds bold:

  • “Be strong.”

  • “Work hard.”

  • “Make money.”

  • “Lead women.”

It appeals to the natural desire in a man to dominate, win, and be respected however the problem is that his version of masculinity is disconnected from the fear of God.

Scripture says:

“For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of God.” (Ephesians 5:5)

The danger isn’t the discipline or the drive. The danger is when pride and pleasure become gods. Wealth in itself isn’t sin but when you make wealth for yourself instead of the body of Christ, it becomes idolatry.

Men like Tate glorify indulgence: cigars, coffee, luxury cars, sexual dominance however Scripture says these things rot the soul. A man can look powerful while being completely enslaved.

THE COST OF SPREADING YOUR SEED

Tate preaches that masculinity means conquering women however every time a man sleeps with a woman, something spiritual happens. He doesn’t just share his body he shares his spirit.

The Bible shows how this destroyed powerful men:

  • Samson lost his strength to Delilah.

  • David lost his integrity with Bathsheba.

  • Solomon lost his kingdom because of foreign women.

Each one fell not because of weakness in battle, but weakness in purity.

Sex outside of marriage drains a man’s spiritual authority. It weakens focus, destroys finances, and births confusion. A man who gives his seed to many women gives his destiny to strangers. It can ultimatly steal your assets and even put a man in prison i.e stealing your destiny. The wrong women will bring you down and then ultimately lead you down to hell if men don't turn from their ways.

“Do not give your strength to women, nor your ways to those who destroy kings.” (Proverbs 31:3)

That’s what happened to Andrew Tate fame, money, chaos, and captivity. What looks like success can actually be judgment.

THE LIE ABOUT POWER AND PLEASURE

Tate teaches men to indulge cigars, shisha, caffeine, sensuality but true power doesn’t come from indulgence. It comes from discipline.

The Word of God says:

“He that rules his spirit is better than he that takes a city.” (Proverbs 16:32)

It’s not about how much you can control, but how much you can surrender. A man filled with lust and addiction is not strong. He’s enslaved.

Satan packages destruction as masculinity, and many men fall for it. What starts as confidence turns into rebellion and rebellion is witchcraft. (1 Samuel 15:23)

CHARLIE KIRK - A DIFFERENT MODEL

Then there’s Charlie Kirk. A man who didn’t build fame on lust or indulgence, but on conviction.

He:

  • Didn’t drink alcohol.

  • Didn’t smoke.

  • Honoured his family.

  • Spoke truth even when unpopular.

  • Worked hard without flaunting wealth.

  • Stayed grounded in faith.

His values pointed men back to responsibility and truth. He didn’t use his platform to glorify himself but to glorify God.

Charlie Kirk modelled what biblical masculinity looks like:

  • Leadership with humility.

  • Strength with restraint.

  • Confidence with compassion.

  • Courage with conviction.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14)

That is the image of a man according to Scripture.

WHAT GOD CALLS TRUE MASCULINITY

True masculinity isn’t measured by:

  • Money.

  • Muscles.

  • Women.

  • Fame.

It’s measured by:

  • Obedience to God.

  • Faithfulness to one woman.

  • Provision for family.

  • Protection of the weak.

  • Courage to speak truth.

  • Submission to Jesus Christ.

The world teaches men to fight for dominance. God teaches men to fight for holiness.

True masculinity is:

  • When a man prays.

  • When he resists temptation.

  • When he provides without boasting.

  • When he leads his family in righteousness.

  • When he uses his strength to serve, not to control.

Jesus was the most masculine man to ever live yet He washed His disciples’ feet.

That is power under control.

A true man is a man of God who humbles himself to lay his manhood at Jesus's feet, he chooses to pick up the cross and run the race. He may not have abs or smoke cigars but he carries the ultimate power The Holy Spirit, The Blood of Jesus and the Word of God. This is what makes you man. Do not underestimate a man who walks with God and lays his ego down. Who decides to choose one woman and be faithful to her and loves her. To put all pleasures aside. Lays down his sins and repents everyday covering his wife and children with prayers and goes to battle in the spiritual and the physical. To build a family and raise up children. A man who decides to use his wealth for the body instead of 5 pointless cars. This man choses true masculity and will see heaven

THE PRICE OF FAKE STRENGTH

Andrew Tate says Christianity is weak however the truth is, it takes far more strength to be a Christian than to follow the world.

It’s easy to kill. It’s easy to boast. It’s easy to chase pleasure. It’s hard to forgive. It’s hard to wait. It’s hard to carry a cross daily.

“If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23)

Islam preaches domination. Christianity preaches transformation.

True strength isn’t proven by how loud you speak, but by how long you stand when the world mocks you for loving Jesus.

THE FALLACY OF UNTOUCHABLE MEN

Men think sleeping around doesn’t affect them however every time they unite with sin, they lose spiritual power.

The Word says:

“He who commits fornication sins against his own body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18)

When men spread their seed everywhere, they scatter their destiny. They inherit confusion, jealousy, and curses from every woman they lay with.

What starts as pleasure ends in poverty financially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Many men are broke not because of bad business, but because they are spiritually bankrupt.

“Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?” (Proverbs 6:27)

TRUE KINGDOM MANHOOD

The man of God doesn’t need validation from the world. He’s not seduced by Instagram likes or expensive suits. He knows who he is in Christ.

A Kingdom man:

  • Prays before he speaks.

  • Protects women instead of using them.

  • Builds wealth for the Kingdom, not his ego.

  • Leads his home with Scripture, not shouting.

  • Walks in humility and purpose.

That’s masculinity that heaven recognises.

“Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in His commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon the earth.” (Psalm 112:1-2)

MANHOOD UNDER GOD

You can admire discipline in Andrew Tate. You can respect the influence but if that strength isn’t under the authority of Jesus Christ, it’s destruction in disguise.

True masculinity begins at the feet of God. It’s forged in prayer, purified through obedience, and proven through service.

Real men don’t follow trends. They follow truth and truth is a person, Jesus Christ.

BIBLICAL MASCULINITY AND THE FALL OF MODERN MEN

THE BLUEPRINT OF A MAN ACCORDING TO GOD

Masculinity didn’t start with culture, It started in Genesis.

When God created man, He gave him:

  1. Identity – made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27).

  2. Assignment – to work and keep the garden (Genesis 2:15).

  3. Authority – to name, lead, and rule under God’s order.

  4. Boundaries – “You shall not eat of the tree…” (Genesis 2:17).

  5. Companionship – woman as a helper, not competition.

That’s the foundation. Masculinity is not about dominance. It’s about stewardship. A man doesn’t own; he manages what belongs to God. A man doesn’t control; he covers and protects. A man doesn’t chase pleasure; he walks in purpose.

When Adam failed to guard his home, sin entered. The fall of man began when a man was silent where he should have spoken.

That’s where the war on masculinity began when men stopped obeying God’s voice and started following their own desires.

SAMSON - STRONG BUT SEDUCED

Samson had everything men desire:

  • Strength.

  • Fame.

  • Victory.

But he had one weakness, lust!

Delilah didn’t kill him with a sword. She killed him with seduction and that’s what’s killing men today.

Samson’s eyes were gouged out, and that’s symbolic. When a man lives by lust, he loses vision.

You can lift weights, make money, and still be spiritually blind.

“Do not let your strength be for women.” (Proverbs 31:3)

The tragedy of Samson wasn’t that he was captured. It’s that he was called and forgot his calling. The same spirit of Delilah is at work today through pornography, casual sex, lustful culture, and pride.

It promises pleasure but delivers powerlessness.

DAVID - SUCCESS WITHOUT SELF-CONTROL

David was a man after God’s own heart but even he fell.

He saw Bathsheba, desired her, and took what wasn’t his. He had authority but lacked restraint and one moment of lust cost him a lifetime of pain.

  • His child died.

  • His family turned against him.

  • His name carried shame.

Lust doesn’t just steal moments, it destroys legacy.

Even a man after God’s heart can fall if his eyes aren’t guarded. What you look at long enough, you’ll eventually pursue.

That’s why Job said:

“I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully upon a young woman.” (Job 31:1)

David’s story reminds every man that the true test of masculinity isn’t how powerful you are in public but how pure you are in private.

SOLOMON - WISDOM LOST TO WOMEN

Solomon was the wisest man on earth. He asked for wisdom, and God gave it but wisdom without obedience is wasted.

He had 700 wives and 300 concubines and the Word says:

“His wives turned away his heart.” (1 Kings 11:3)

Even the wisest man became a fool when he loved the wrong women. This shows that no amount of success, knowledge, or intelligence can protect a man who doesn’t fear God.

Solomon built temples for idols to please women. Modern men build brands, careers, and lifestyles to please culture. Both destroy the soul.

True wisdom isn’t how much you know. It’s how quickly you obey God.

JOSEPH - A MODEL OF MASCULINE PURITY

Joseph was young, handsome, and tempted but he ran.

When Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce him, he said:

“How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9)

That’s masculinity restraint in the face of temptation.

Joseph didn’t just resist sin; he fled from it and because of that, God raised him from a prisoner to a ruler.

When a man guards his purity, God can trust him with power.

If you can’t rule your flesh, you can’t rule a nation.

That’s the difference between Joseph and the modern man. Most men today are chasing lust, while Joseph chased righteousness.

JESUS - THE PERFECT MAN

Jesus wasn’t soft. He was strong, His strength came from submission to His Father.

He didn’t seek attention. He sought obedience. He didn’t dominate women. He dignified them. He didn’t build palaces. He built people.

He showed what real manhood looks like, humility with authority.

When soldiers mocked Him, He stayed silent. When they struck Him, He forgave. When they killed Him, He conquered death.

No man can call himself masculine until he can control his response.

“The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve.” (Matthew 20:28)

That’s true strength, power that chooses mercy.

THE DANGERS OF MODERN MANHOOD

Today’s men are discipled by influencers, not men filled with the Holy Spirit. They imitate ego, not endurance. They pursue power, not character.

Andrew Tate’s masculinity sells because men are fatherless. They’re looking for direction, affirmation, and leadership, however, only Jesus can fill that void.

  • Jesus says, “Deny yourself and follow Me.”

  • Jesus says, “Give and it will be given to you.”

  • Jesus says, “Holiness is freedom.”

The message of Andrew Tate promises power but produces pride. The message of Jesus promises surrender but produces true strength.

HOW SEXUAL SIN DESTROYS MEN

The devil knows he can’t stop a praying man, so he distracts him with pleasure.

Every time a man joins himself to a woman outside of covenant, he exchanges power for pleasure. He loses spiritual clarity, divine favour, and often his peace.

“He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself.” (Proverbs 6:32)

Sexual sin drains your anointing, it breaks focus, it makes men restless and double-minded.

That’s why Paul said:

“Flee fornication.” (1 Corinthians 6:18)

He didn’t say resist he said flee because some temptations you don’t fight; you run.

THE RESTORATION OF MASCULINITY THROUGH JESUS

No man is beyond redemption, whether broken by lust, greed, or pride, Jesus restores.

He takes the fallen and makes them fathers. He takes the corrupted and makes them carriers of His glory.

To be a real man is to:

  • Repent quickly.

  • Forgive freely.

  • Provide faithfully.

  • Protect fearlessly.

  • Pray fervently.

When a man returns to God, his masculinity is restored. He leads differently. He loves differently. He lives differently.

RISE, MEN OF GOD

The world doesn’t need more “alpha males.” It needs kingdom men.

Men who:

  • Cry before God but stand strong before men.

  • Love one woman for life.

  • Build family before they build empires.

  • Do business but never worship money.

  • Raise sons who fear God more than fame.

True masculinity is when a man kneels before Jesus and rises with conviction.

Because real men don’t need validation from the world, they walk in revelation from God.

Rebuilding Fatherhood and Leadership: Restoring the Masculine Heart under God

THE TWO EXTREMES OF DECEPTION

Satan never creates; he only corrupts. He can’t invent manhood, so he distorts it.

God is the only one that knows masculinity, more than anoyone, as he made man.

Satan attacks men in two directions:

  1. Passive distortion - soft, confused, and afraid to lead.

    • Men lose their voice, shrink back, and abandon responsibility.

    • The enemy whispers that strength is toxic and leadership is pride.

    • Act and want to be a women or child

    • Gays, feminised and transgenders etc

  2. Aggressive distortion - proud, lust-driven, and godless.

    • Men chase money, status, and power without holiness.

    • They call arrogance “confidence” and rebellion “freedom.”

    • Blinded by their assets

    • Pleasure based on their worldly masculinity

Both extremes are void of God. Neither reflects Jesus.

True masculinity stands in the middle, strong yet surrendered, bold yet humble, leading yet listening to God.

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

That verse defines balance: Power without love becomes domination. Love without power becomes weakness. A sound mind keeps both submitted to the Spirit.

SATAN’S STRATEGY AGAINST MANHOOD

The devil’s goal is to erase God’s image from men. He does it through identity confusion and false pride.

  • He feminises strength so men doubt their design.

  • He glorifies rebellion so men reject God’s authority.

One side produces men who refuse responsibility. The other produces men who worship themselves. Both sides lead to destruction.

The enemy knows that when men lose their identity, families collapse, women carry burdens alone, and children grow up without covering.

That’s why Scripture says:

“Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will scatter.” (Zechariah 13:7)

If the man falls, the house shakes.

THE CALL BACK TO FATHERHOOD

God’s answer to this chaos is fatherhood, not the title, but the posture.

A true father:

  • Leads through prayer, not control.

  • Provides through diligence, not greed.

  • Disciplines through love, not anger.

  • Guards his home spiritually and emotionally.

Fathers model the heart of God to their children. When a man honours his wife, his sons learn respect. When he prays aloud, his daughters learn safety.

“He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children.” (Malachi 4:6)

That’s revival, men returning to their posts.

REDEEMING LEADERSHIP

Leadership isn’t domination; it’s direction under God. The world teaches men to lead for applause. Jesus teaches men to lead through service.

He washed feet. He carried a cross. He showed that authority is stewardship.

Men who lead without God destroy; Men who lead with God rebuild nations.

A godly man doesn’t silence women, he covers them. He doesn’t compete with his wife, he completes her. He doesn’t abandon his children, he disciples them.

THE RESTORATION OF THE KINGDOM MAN

The Kingdom man is rising

He walks with honour. He repents quickly. He refuses compromise. He builds wealth for God’s purposes. He fights battles in prayer before fighting them in public.

His masculinity is redeemed, his family strengthened, and his community transformed.

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly.” (Psalm 1:1)

That’s the dividing line: godly counsel vs. worldly influence.

THE FINAL CALL

Men don’t need another influencer; they need an encounter with Jesus. They don’t need more motivation; they need transformation.

The world says, “Find yourself.”Jesus says, “Deny yourself.”

The world says, “Be alpha.”Jesus says, “Be faithful.”

Until men return to the cross, masculinity will keep swinging between confusion and corruption.

Real manhood is found only where it began in the image of God.

Raising Sons and Daughters in a Fallen Culture: Restoring Order in the Home

THE HOME IS THE FIRST NATION

Every culture begins in a home. Before there were governments, there was family. Before there was a throne, there was a table.

That’s why Satan attacks homes first. If he can divide a house, he can weaken a nation.

Men were never called to rule the world before ruling their homes. Scripture says,

“If anyone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God’s church?” (1 Timothy 3:5)

A strong man builds his home first. He creates order, teaches truth, and leads his family to Jesus.

THE ROLE OF THE FATHER

The father is not just a provider; he is a priest in the house. His prayers shape the spiritual climate. His words set the tone for honour and respect.

A godly father:

  • Leads family prayer and reading the Word.

  • Models repentance when he fails.

  • Works with diligence and integrity.

  • Protects his family from ungodly influence.

  • Affirms his children’s identity in God.

Children learn who God is by watching their father. When the father is absent, children search for identity in the world. That’s why the crisis of fatherhood is the crisis of our generation.

RAISING SONS TO BE MEN OF GOD

A son learns masculinity from his father’s example, not his advice. He imitates what he sees.

Teach your sons:

  • Responsibility: “Do your work as unto the Lord.”

  • Restraint: “Your body is a temple.”

  • Respect: “Honour women as sisters in Christ.”

  • Resilience: “Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Correct him firmly but love him deeply. Let him see you pray. Let him see you forgive. Let him see you serve.

That’s how you produce men who won’t need to chase validation online they’ll already know who they are in God.

RAISING DAUGHTERS TO WALK IN WISDOM

A daughter learns how she should be loved by how her father treats her mother.

Teach your daughters:

  • Purity is protection, not punishment.

  • Worth is found in identity, not attention.

  • Femininity is strength wrapped in grace.

  • Submission to God brings safety, not weakness.

A daughter raised under a praying father will never settle for counterfeit love. She will recognise manipulation because she has seen truth.

MOTHERS AS NURTURERS OF VISION

The world tells women to compete with men. The Bible calls women to complete the assignment.

A mother shapes the soul of her children. She teaches empathy, patience, and faith. She brings peace to the home through prayer and discernment.

The Proverbs 31 woman wasn’t loud or lazy. She was strong, wise, and trusted by her husband. She worked, provided, and carried herself with dignity.

When mothers and fathers unite under God, the home becomes heaven’s embassy on earth.

GUARDING YOUR HOUSE IN A CORRUPT WORLD

Culture will try to disciple your children before you do. Guard what they watch, who they follow, and what they hear.

Install boundaries, not to control, but to protect. Teach them why holiness matters. Let them question and then answer with Scripture.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Your home is your ministry. Every meal is a teaching moment. Every conversation is a seed.

BUILDING A LEGACY

Legacy isn’t what you leave for your children, it’s what you leave in them.

A man may die, but his principles live on through his lineage. When fathers walk with God, they pass down spiritual authority. When mothers walk with faith, they pass down peace.

Together they build something that outlives them.

“The generation of the upright shall be blessed.” (Psalm 112:2)

Raise your children to fear God, not to fear people. Raise them to seek purpose, not popularity. Raise them to build, not just to consume.

RESTORING ORDER THROUGH JESUS

The only way to heal the family is to return to the cross. No therapy, trend, or influencer can replace repentance and prayer.

When Jesus becomes the head of the home:

  • Men regain vision.

  • Women regain peace.

  • Children regain purpose.

The home becomes light in a dark world.

THE FINAL COMMISSION

This generation doesn’t need more rebellion; it needs revival. It starts with men who bow before Jesus and women who build beside them.

Teach your sons to protect. Teach your daughters to discern. Teach your family to pray.

Because when homes return to God, nations will follow.

Building a Nation of Kingdom Men: How Society Changes When Men Return to God

THE SEED OF A NATION

Every nation begins with a man who walks with God.

  • Noah built an ark.

  • Abraham obeyed the call.

  • Joseph preserved a people.

  • Moses led them out.

When a man stands upright before God, he becomes the seed of a nation. When he falls, that seed corrupts.

A Kingdom man carries a nation in his character.vHis integrity governs more than his home, it sets direction for generations.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” (Psalm 33:12)

THE FALL OF NATIONS WITHOUT FATHERS

Where men abandon prayer, families fracture. Where fathers disappear, chaos fills the streets.

History repeats a single pattern:

  • When men lose purpose, nations lose peace.

  • When leaders chase power instead of purity, people suffer.

We see the results everywhere, lawlessness, confusion, and fear. God’s solution has never changed: raise men who fear Him more than failure.

THE BLUEPRINT OF KINGDOM LEADERSHIP

True leadership follows five pillars:

  1. Discipline – governing self before governing others.

“He who rules his spirit is better than he who takes a city.” (Proverbs 16:32)

  2. Stewardship – treating money, influence, and people as trusts, not trophies.

  3. Humility – knowing every victory belongs to God.

  4. Service – using strength to lift others.

“Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant.” (Matthew 20:26)

  5. Justice – defending truth, protecting the weak, refusing corruption.

These form the frame of a righteous nation. Without them, every system, business, church, or government rots from within.

MEN IN BUSINESS, POLITICS, AND CULTURE

Godly men must return to the front lines of culture:

  • In business, to model integrity over greed.

  • In politics, to speak truth without fear.

  • In education, to teach wisdom, not confusion.

  • In media, to show light, not lust.

The world does not need louder men; it needs cleaner hearts. Every deal, every vote, every post can become an altar of worship or idolatry. Choose worship.

When men carry the presence of God into their workplaces, corruption collapses. When they speak righteousness in public life, darkness loses ground.

MEN AS BUILDERS OF COMMUNITIES

A Kingdom man doesn’t live for comfort, he builds for legacy.

He mentors younger men. He employs the jobless. He teaches boys to pray before they perform. He restores dignity through example.

Communities change when godly men stop complaining and start constructing. Every project that uplifts others is ministry when it’s done in the name of Jesus.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

THE PROPHETIC CALL TO MEN OF GOD

The Father is calling men back to order. Not just to attend church but to become living altars.

He is raising:

  • Men who repent publicly and lead privately.

  • Men who pray with authority in their homes.

  • Men who carry purity into positions of power.

  • Men who rebuild what culture has torn down.

The world’s crisis is not political, it’s spiritual and the cure is not another policy, it’s repentance.

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray… then will I heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

This is the prophecy over every nation that still bows to God.

THE TIME IS NOW

Men of God, the time for silence is over. The Father is looking for builders, not talkers; intercessors, not influencers.

Lead your homes. Guard your eyes. Honour your word. Work with excellence. Live holy in a world that mocks holiness.

When men rise in righteousness, women rest in safety, children grow in strength, and nations return to peace.

The revival we pray for will not start in a stadium; it will start when a man kneels in his living room and says,“Lord Jesus, rule my life again.”

That is where nations are born. That is where history changes. That is where masculinity becomes manhood, and manhood becomes ministry.
