Murder is not only the taking of a human life with malice. In Scripture, God treats murder as any act, intention, or system that sheds innocent blood, destroys His image in people, or leads a soul toward death. It includes the hand, the heart, the tongue, and the structures we defend or ignore. It is physical and spiritual. It is personal and societal.
This is a hard read. It should be. Truth saves lives.

How Scripture Defines Murder
Shedding innocent blood: Deliberate killing of the innocent is an abomination to God.
Hate that breeds death: Jesus exposes the root. Harbouring anger, contempt, and dehumanisation is the seed of murder.
Words that destroy: Slander, false witness, and incitement can kill reputations, livelihoods, and safety.
Leading others into sin: Causing a “little one” to stumble is treated as a grave offence.
Child sacrifice: Ancient Israel was judged for offering children to Molech. Modern forms exist with new names.
Suicide: The self is not ours to destroy. Life belongs to God.
Abortion: The unborn are living image-bearers. Ending that life sheds innocent blood.
God is the Giver of life. To assault life is to war against Him.
The Main Types of Murder Today
1) Physical Homicide
What it is: Intentionally ending another person’s life.
Why it is wicked: The victim bears God’s image. No human is authorised to erase that image apart from righteous judgement under His law.
How it appears now: Violence, vigilantism, honour killings, war crimes, revenge attacks, assisted killings dressed as “mercy.”
2) Abortion
What it is: The intentional ending of life in the womb.
Why it is wicked: The unborn child has blood, breath appointed by God, identity, and destiny. The womb is designed as a sanctuary, not a battlefield.
How it appears now: Sanitised language, medicalised settings, and economic or social pressure. The reality remains the same: an innocent life is ended.
3) Suicide
What it is: Taking one’s own life.
Why it is wicked: Your life is a trust from God. Ending your life rejects His authorship and mercy.
How it appears now: Romanticised despair, “compassionate” self-termination, isolation amplified by digital life, and cultural scripts that normalise hopelessness.
4) Murder by the Tongue
What it is: Slander, false accusation, malicious gossip, doxxing, character assassination.
Why it is wicked: Words can kill livelihoods, marriages, reputations, and even provoke physical harm. The tongue can be a blade.
How it appears now: Cancel mobs, smear campaigns, lies amplified by algorithms.
5) Murder of the Soul
What it is: Leading others into sin, despair, and unbelief. Pushing them toward spiritual death.
Why it is wicked: It targets eternal life. Causing a little one to stumble carries severe warning.
How it appears now: Predatory content, grooming, addiction economies, mocking holiness, discipling people into darkness for clicks and cash.
6) Systemic Shedding of Innocent Blood
What it is: Laws, policies, industry practices, and cultural norms that accept or promote the destruction of innocent life.
Why it is wicked: It multiplies guilt, numbs conscience, and defiles the land.
How it appears now: Abortion regimes, euthanasia pipelines, violent economies, trafficking networks, and propaganda that dehumanises groups.
How Satan Uses Murder Against People
Desensitisation: He floods culture with death so it feels normal. Entertainment makes violence thrilling. News cycles make it routine.
Euphemisms: He renames sin to soothe the conscience. “Choice.” “Mercy.” “Autonomy.” “Healthcare.” The words are smooth so the blade can pass.
Isolation: He cuts people from community so despair grows. Alone, the mind becomes a courtroom with no defence.
Accusation: He tempts first, then condemns. “No one will understand. You are beyond forgiveness. End it.”
Inversion: He makes evil look compassionate and good look cruel. He paints those who protect life as hateful and those who end life as loving.
Speed: He pushes quick decisions in moments of panic. Fast forms. Fast pills. Fast silence.
Satan cannot create life. He attacks it. Always.
How Society Has Made Murder Seem Acceptable
Language laundering: Rebranding sin makes it palatable. Words change so hearts won’t.
Technocratic distance: Killing is moved behind hospital doors, screens, and policies. The further from our eyes, the easier to deny.
Therapeutic framing: Pain is the ultimate wrong, so removing the sufferer can be marketed as kindness.
Economic pressure: Poverty and career fears become arguments for ending life rather than reasons to support life.
Narrative control: Platforms reward rage, mockery, and dehumanisation. The loudest voices get paid to inflame.
Collective guilt: When everyone is complicit, no one feels responsible. Shared sin feels lighter, but its weight remains.
Why Satan Targets Children
Image of the future: Children carry tomorrow’s worship, witness, and warriors. Destroying them cuts off future praise and purpose.
Defiling the sanctuary: The womb is sacred. Turning it into a site of bloodshed mocks God’s design.
Generational fracture: Killing children breaks families, breeds trauma, and multiplies fear across generations.
War on hope: Children embody hope. Erasing them trains a culture to prefer convenience over covenant.
Why He Pushes You Toward Suicide
To silence your testimony: Your story of deliverance would free others. He wants it unwritten.
To rob God’s timing: He wants death on his terms, not God’s. He rushes what God would redeem.
To weaponise pain: He convinces you pain is permanent and you are a burden. Both are lies.
To break many with one act: Suicide shatters spouses, parents, children, and friends. One death, many wounds.
If you are considering suicide right now, pause here. Your life is precious. Tell someone you trust. Reach out for immediate help. You are not alone.
Deep Dive: Abortion
The lies that drive it
“It’s not a life.” But life has begun. The child is not a potential human. The child is a human with potential.
“You are not ready.” Readiness can be built. Lives cannot be rebuilt once ended.
“This will solve your problem.” It does not solve. It replaces one problem with another one that never changes its name.
The pressures around it
Isolation, poor support, financial fear, partner pressure, and cultural messaging that treats motherhood as an obstacle instead of a calling.
The aftermath
Physical risks, psychological grief, spiritual heaviness. Many carry silence and shame for years because the culture that sold the “solution” will not stay to carry the sorrow.
The way back
Confession before God. Honest lament. Receiving mercy through God. Post-abortion healing communities. Telling the truth to others when ready. He forgives. He restores. He makes mothers into healers.
Deep Dive: Suicide
The lies that drive it
“You are a burden.” Untrue. Your presence anchors people in ways you cannot see.
“This pain will always be this way.” Pain moves. God heals. Circumstances change. Hope returns.
“No one understands.” Many do. The enemy isolates to make despair feel unique and permanent.
The pressures around it
Sleeplessness, trauma, rejection, financial collapse, chronic illness, spiritual attack, and digital loneliness.
The truth
Your life is a gift. You are not an accident. Your breath is a sign that your assignment is not finished. Jesus is near to the brokenhearted. He will not break a bruised reed.
The way back
Say it out loud to someone safe. Remove the means. Seek prayer, counsel, and medical support. Immerse in Scripture and community. Eat, rest, go outside, keep appointments, and refuse secrecy. Choose life again today.
Consequences of Murder Before God
Judgement and accountability: Innocent blood cries out. God hears.
Defiled land: Widespread bloodshed pollutes nations. History shows the fallout is real.
Personal torment: Hidden guilt corrodes the inner life. Consciences ache under truth.
Broken families and communities: Violence and death echo through generations.
Hardened hearts: Repeated sin numbs compassion and blinds the soul.
These consequences are not posted to crush you. They are posted to wake you.
Is There Mercy After Murder?
Yes. Through Gpd, there is mercy even here. Repentance is not a sentence. It is a door.
Repentance: Speak the truth to God without excuses. Ask for cleansing. Turn from the act and the system that enabled it.
Restitution where possible: Protect life now. Support mothers. Defend the vulnerable. Tell the truth to others when led by Jesus.
Renewed mind: Saturate your thoughts in Scripture. Replace euphemisms with truth. Train your tongue to bless.
Community and accountability: Walk with people who will carry you, correct you, and keep you near Jesus.
Grace does not rename sin. Grace breaks its power.

What To Do Now
Choose life: In your body, your words, your home, your vote, your content, your business.
Protect mothers and babies: Offer practical help, not judgement. Food, housing, childcare, work opportunities, and community.
Guard your tongue: Refuse slander. Stop forwards that dehumanise. Speak life.
Resist despair: If you feel the pull toward self-harm, tell someone now. Bring darkness into the light.
Build sanctuaries: Make your home, church, and platforms places that welcome life, truth, and healing.
Pray: Ask Jesus to heal the land, expose lies, and raise a generation that loves life.
A Prayer
Jesus, Giver of life, open our eyes. Clean our lips. Heal our land. Forgive our shedding of innocent blood. Rescue those targeted by despair. Surround mothers and fathers with courage and help. Fill us with Your Spirit so we choose life, protect life, and speak life. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
